The new OVIHEMBA plant has a floor area of 1,200 m² and the capacity to produce 300 million tablets per year—primarily acetaminophen—and this facility is expected to significantly boost domestic production, ensuring a continuous supply of essential medicines and reducing dependence on imports.

The factory is organized into four main areas: production, storage, quality control, sanitation, and administrative. It incorporates advanced technologies, such as ISO 8 cleanrooms to ensure controlled environments, and a BMS system that monitors temperature, pressure, and humidity in real time, ensuring maximum quality and safety in the processes.

This project is yet another milestone in innovation and commitment to Angola, strengthening the national pharmaceutical sector.
