Project Description
A study mapping private investment opportunities along the Lobito Corridor, conducted by EY-Parthenon and SOAPRO for the IFC.
The project analyzed priority sectors—mining, energy, agribusiness, industry, infrastructure, logistics, and the digital sector—and aimed to identify projects, constraints, and investment rationale in the provinces of Benguela, Huambo, Bié, Moxico, and Moxico Leste.
Over the course of 14 weeks, research, interviews, surveys, and fieldwork were conducted, involving more than 340 organizations and more than 45 hours of interviews. The study identified approximately USD 30 billion in opportunities related to the corridor and reinforced its potential as a platform for regional integration and economic diversification.
